Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design and optimize ETL pipelines, build Data Lakes on AWS, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure data quality. Strong SQL, Python, ETL frameworks, AWS, Git/Docker/CI/CD expertise required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of ETL processes for data processing and transfer
  • Integration of data from various sources (databases, APIs, logs, etc.)
  • Optimization and automation of data processing and loading workflows
  • Creation and optimization of a Data Lake on AWS, including its architecture and data storage organization
  • Data cleansing and transformation to ensure quality and accessibility
  • Preparation of technical documentation on Data Lake structure and data loading processes
  • Collaboration with analytics and development teams

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and understanding of database management system (DBMS) principles
  • Experience with ETL tools and data processing frameworks
  • Proficiency in Python (or another programming language)
  • Understanding of distributed data processing system architecture
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT process design principles
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows
  • Experience in designing Data Lake architecture
  • Fluent Russian.
